Citrine Heart Rings

Welcome to our Citrine Heart Ring page. Citrine is the official birthstone for the month of November, as adopted in 1912 by the American National Association of Jewelers, and is a suggested gift for the 13th and 17th wedding anniversaries. Citrine is a variety of quartz that encompasses the shades of yellow, gold, yellow-brown, orange and reddish-brown.

Ironically, almost all of the citrine available today for jewelry manufacturing purposes is actually amethyst, another form of quartz. Pale or colorless amethysts are heat treated to produce the beautiful honeyed citrine colors we love. These heat treatments are permanent and do not fade, erode nor wear away with time.
